The Demand for Tractors Is Likely to Be Influenced by the Following Factors

The tractor industry kept its momentum going in August 2026 with healthy progress in Kharif sowings and improving monsoon conditions to assist the industry.

Agricultural equipment demand was also strong as sentiment was solid in rural areas. Demand for tractors has been boosted by farm income prospects and continued farming activity.

Domestic tractor sales performance followed the trend of the company's overall sales growth, which is primarily led by agricultural mechanisation.

In the coming days, the levels of Kharif crops and the reservoir would also affect the demand for tractors, apart from the deferred festive season. In the short term, however, the base effect, which will be compounded by rising costs, may stifle growth in the industry over the coming months.
