Pradhan Mantri Kisan Tractor Yojana 2022: Get up to 20 - 50% subsidy from the government

PM Kisan Tractor subsidy scheme: Since Indian farmers are the strength of the agro-industry, it is necessary that all possible support is provided to them, so that they can contribute more to the overall economy. Farm mechanization works to increase overall productivity and profitability. There are several new-age machines (including tractors) as well as attachments that can help Indian farmers improve productivity, which in turn will increase their income. Though the tractors are resourceful, most of the marginal or small farmers in India find it difficult to purchase them due to their pricey cost. The majority of Indian farmers are pushed to perform traditional farming methods with the help of animals. Hence a Kisan tractor subsidy scheme has been brought into action under which Indian farmers can receive up to 20-50% subsidy on the purchase of any tractor. Farmers who are unable to afford financially will get up to 20 - 50% subsidy from the government on the purchase of new tractors under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Kisan tractor yojana. While the Good and Service tax and other related costs are to be paid by the farmer under this scheme, the 20-50% subsidy total is paid on the actual cost of the purchased tractor. • A farmer must have his own/documented cultivable land.
• The Aadhar PAN card should be linked with any bank account in India.
• The yearly/annual income of the farmer (including family) should be under Rs 1.5 lakh.
• If the farmer already owns a tractor, then he/she will not be eligible for the subsidy scheme.
• The benefit of the PM Kisan Tractor subsidy scheme will be provided to a farmer on the purchase of one tractor only.
