VST Registers 5,853 Unit Sales in July 2026; Power Tillers Continue to Drive Volumes

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. has announced the sales for July 2026, which total 5,853 power tillers and tractors. Sales activity was down in the month as compared to a year ago; however, year-to-date sales were positive with good sales growth in the power tiller segment.

VST has sold 5,450 power tillers and 403 tractors in July 2026, bringing its monthly sales to 5,853 units.

The company's total sales were down by 9.55% from the 6,471 units it sold in July, 2025. In the month, sales in both segments were down.

The drop indicates that demand for the month of July was less than that in the corresponding month last year.

The company made a 7% increase in the number of units sold in April-July compared with the previous period in FY2025-26, when it sold 19,426 units.

The company's overall sales were positive, although sales of its total tractor volume dropped slightly, were offset by sales of power tillers.

Power Tillers Continue to Lead Sales

Power tillers continued to be the mainstay of VST's business, accounting for over 93% of the company's overall sales for July 2026. This segment is continuing to be supported by demand for mechanisation equipment, despite the weak sales of tractors.

However, the company's sales of small and medium-sized tractors have not risen substantially since last year, as farmers with smaller land holdings continue to use them.

Overall, the performance of VST in FY2026-27 is encouraging, even though there was a slight decline in sales during the month of July.
